I really like to visit watch stores and stores that sell watches.\u00a0 Wouldn’t it be nice if someone out there could tell you where you can go and what stores to avoid?\u00a0 Well, here I am.\u00a0 I live in a Southwest suburb of Chicago and work in a Western suburb of Chicago.\u00a0 I have visited many stores that sell watches and the occasional watch store.\u00a0 I have had great experiences and terrible.\u00a0 All of the reviews are for visits within the last year and will be dated and updated, if possible.\u00a0 I generally don’t give stores a second chance.\u00a0 If you would like to add reviews for stores in your area, post in the comments or e-mail me at contact”no spam”@cyberphreak.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The first store up is “The Time Center” in Westchester, IL<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Overview:\u00a0 Family owned storefront watch and clock store.<\/p>\n

Brands sold\/spotted:\u00a0 Seiko, Invicta, Bulova, Swatch, et al.<\/p>\n

Prices:\u00a0 Retail or discounted.\u00a0 No gouging seen and I think you can haggle.<\/p>\n

Watch bands\/bracelets sold there?\u00a0 Yes<\/p>\n

This is a nice, small operation with excellent customer service.\u00a0 Selection is not huge in watches, but the do stock and sell Seiko 5 watches!\u00a0 They do repairs on premesis and the store is owed by a watchmaker.\u00a0 They also have a very large selection of wall and table clocks.\u00a0 Of particular interest is the sheer breadth of watch bands and bracelets sold there.\u00a0 They have just about everything from Speidel to Hadley Roma and above.\u00a0 They have NATO, carbon fiber, rubber, lizard, crocodile, steel, and gold bands in stock.\u00a0 Their prices are retail or better than some online prices I have seen!\u00a0 Customer service is excellent and attentive and not pushy at all.\u00a0 They also have quite a few vintage pocket and wrist watches in stock at fair prices.\u00a0 All the used watches have been serviced.\u00a0 This is, by far, my favorite watch store.\u00a0 Five out of Five stars overall.<\/p>\n\"Facebook\"<\/a>\"twitter\"<\/a>\"mail\"<\/a>by <\/span>\"feather\"<\/a>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
